Jungle Safari

Jungle Safari is located at Kevadia Zoological Park and it covers nearly 558240 square meters on the bank of River Narmada it is located about 2 km far from the Statue of Unity. In this Jungle Safari, there are 170 species of fauna from countries like Asia, America, Australia, and Africa. The tourist can also watch magnificent big cats like Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard and above all the famous Asiatic Lion. Other animals like rhinos, giraffes and 12 types of antelopes, zebras, deer, and other exotic animals are also found here. The safari was designed in such a way that tourists can watch every activity of the animal, watch birds and spot reptiles. Jungle Safari will have five sections each for mammals, carnivorous, herbivorous and water animals.

Ekta Nursury

Ekta Nursery is being developed in the vicinity of the Statue of Unity, in line with the Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision that visitors, when they return, should take back with them seedlings as a plant of unity. Out of the one million plants targeted, 0.3 million plants are in 'ready to sell' stage and the other 0.7 million are likely to be ready soon. The Vishwa Van was developed in an area of 2 hectares is located between the two bridges next to the Statue of Unity. Vishwa Van contains herbs, shrubs, and trees native to all the 7 continents signifying the underlying theme of "Unity in Diversity" in the global context. It has a diverse assemblage of flora representing every continent of the world. The vegetation is arranged in a way to resemble the natural forest of that place. The aim of this Vishwa Van was to educate the tourists about biogeography the study of the distribution of species and ecosystems in geographic space. Clusters have been developed for maintaining a suitable environment for raising the seedlings of the forest of the world. The inspiration was taken from the five Olympic rings with a distinct color for each continent. The motive for Vishwa Van is to combine the world's forests and gardens.

Cactus Garden

The Cactus Garden is located on the banks of River Narmada on the opposite side of the Flower of Valley as per the saying that this cactus garden will be one of the largest cactus gardens in the country. In this Garden various continents Cactus are brought planted and grown here, The cactus are of wide range with various sizes and shapes. The cactus is found in very extremely harsh environments normally these cactus are found in Desert and the driest places on earth. Cactus is native to America, ranging from Patagonia in the south to parts of western Canada in the north, but few cactus species are found in Sri Lanka and Africa. Many Cactus are brought from Orissa and Karnataka. Most of the species of cacti have needles which are real leaves of the plant. The Butterfly Garden was built on the left bank of the dam, opposite to Statue of Unity. A Butterfly Garden has been meticulously created where the colorful world of these delicate creatures can be enjoyed. The garden covers nearly 6 acres of area with 38 species of butterflies and 45 species of plants. In the Butterfly Garden interactive models like pollination and butterfly, selfie models, human size and animal size comparative models are the key attractions of this Garden. The Butterfly Garden has been planted in a way to create an environment that attracts butterflies and gives them a habitat for them to proliferate. Since butterflies feed on the nectar of flowers, there are hundreds of flowering plants that will provide them with food. There are also suitable places for them to lay eggs and host plants for caterpillars to thrive. Visit this beautifully designed park to get a close view of stunning butterflies.

Laser Show

Laser show or the projection mapping show will become more organized with proper technological advancements at the Statue of Unity. The mighty tall statue of 182 metres is a canvass of screen where light and sound show depicts the life and times of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The 30-minute show is conducted through 51 high-resolution projectors fixed at a distance of 600 metres. The show is free of charge as of now currently which starts at 6.45 pm and goes till 7.15 pm. Adding to that, the projection of light and sound are really vivid and anyone can it from far distances. All the laser projectors are placed in a specialised enclosure.

Mirror Maze

The Mirror Maze is also known as the house of mirrors which included as a part of Children's Nutrition Park. In the Mirror Maze, there are various sizes and forms of the mirror that are kept in this mirror maze. To add to the eagerness of exploring the maze, visitors will experience various obstacles while navigating between the starting and endpoints like a shaking bridge, etc.

Arogya Van is spread by nearly 15 acres. In this Arogya Van the wide range of medicinal plants and health-related landscapes. The aim of this garden is to raise awareness about the important role played by plants in the wellness of human beings. Emphasis will also be laid on Ayurveda, Meditation and Yoga for being an integral part of a person well being. The key highpoint will be an ‘Arogya Manush’, a human form made consuming plants and shrubs. Each human organ would be represented by a medicinal plant which is valuable for that particular organ. Zarvani Eco-Tourisom

Zarvani is situated in the Satpuda mountain series on the banks of the divine river of Rewa near Sardar Sarovar. It is placed in the Shoolpaneshwar Sanctuary of the Narmada Forest Division. It is a famous place between tourists and nature lovers. During the monsoon here tourists can watch full- sized waterfall due to it many tourists visit this place. The water of this waterfall is so clean that one can watch through it and catch small fishes at the bottom of the waterfall. The tourist can enjoy many activities like Trekking, Bird Watching, Botanical Garden, Medicinal Forest, Cultural Programmes, Adventure Activity, Local Tribal Cuisine, Rope Climbing, etc.

Khalwani Eco-Tourisom

Khalvani Eco-Tourism is located near Sardar Sarovar Dam along the bank of everlasting stream fed by the waters released from the Godbole Gate. The area is enclosed by hillocks bearing typical deciduous forests of this area. The tweeting of avifauna, the flowing waters of the divine Narmada, the undulating terrain and the different shades of green foliage makes this place perfect for hiking and camping. Tourists can enjoy activities like river crossing, Burma bridge, river rafting, rock climbing, tubing, rappelling, and horse riding. River Rafting and Water Sports

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani inaugurated the state’s first river rafting activity at Khalwani in Narmada district. Khalwani is situated near Sardar Sarovar Dam on river Narmada, which is also home to world’s tallest statue?the Statue of Unity. As per sources from the state government, river rafting activity will be possible here throughout the year because of regular flow of 600 cusecs of water at Khalwani. The facility developed with the help of experts from Uttarakhand, will reportedly open for public from September 1. With the coming up of this facility, it is expected that adventure lovers will no longer have to travel to Kashmir, Uttarakhand, or Himachal to experience river rafting. Night Lighting

As soon as the sun sets, the Kevadia town comes into life on its own! With some of the emblematic sites lighted up, the venue undergoes a transformation of sorts with an ambition to create a night landscape around the world’s tallest statue, the Statue of Unity. A stretch of road from Ekta Dwar to the dam, 8.5 kms in length, is decorated with colourful vibrant motifs lights and artistic splendours. Kevadia road motif light is a representation of happy street to pay a tribute to the Statue of Unity. There are various attractive patterns of flowers, palm trees, birds and artistic designing of neon light cluster, which create an endless continuation lighting chain.

Glow Garden

The evenings around the Statue of Unity in Kevadia are illuminated with attractive and vibrant lights now, as the Unity Glow Garden, a unique theme park has been developed with a glimmering array of installations, figures and optical illusions. There are many botanical and various animals and birds and LED fountain inspired with glowing lights on display to welcome all tourists to experience the joy of night tourism. It has earned the title of being a popular destination park already, as more and more tourists are pouring in to experience the beauty of Kevadia at night. This was intended to create a zone that gave different feel and ambience in the evenings and enable night-tourism to flourish in the vicinity of Statue of Unity.

Children's Nutrition Park

This Children’s Nutrition Park, near the Statue of Unity, a major attraction now, aims to fulfill the requirement of nutritional education with entertaining style. Located near the Tourist Information Centre and Ekta Mall, the campus of this Nutrition Park is specially designed for “edutainment” of children and parents. The park aims to raise awareness about various aspects of nutrition. The tour of the park is conducted through a train ride, traveling through various stations equipped with interactive games and activities, including a virtual reality playing arena and much more. The station of Milk deals with Milk Processing and making Food items from milk. It provides an enthralling and enjoyable experience combined with learning about the nutrition, food processing and horticulture in a way that is fun for children as well as adults. Most important is, all the trainers and staff employed here are the local tribal people, who are well trained.


Sardar Sarovar Dam is an interesting option for visitors who wish to tour the Statue of Unity. The dam is located in Narmada River and is surrounded by a vast expanse of mountains and forests which would behold the gaze of visitors with their pristine gorgeousness. The dam is located at a distance of 4 km from the Statue of Unity. The sight of the dam offers a rare combination of blue waters of Narmada River with the greenery of mountains. Monsoons and winters are the best time to visit the dam to witness the greenery and tranquility of the place in its best state. The dam remains open for visitors from 8 am to 6 pm all days of the week.


Nilkanth Dham is one of the beautiful construction established on the lands of Poicha. It is dedicated to Lord Swamy Narayan. It is constructed at the river bank of the sacred river Narmada. The Dham has many sectors like the Exhibition zone, Park zone, Kids Play zone, Food court and many other zones. The Dham looks spectacular in the evenings especially the light show grabs the crowd. The Prashad (Food Pudding) is delicious. The place is quite beautiful and serene.


The Flower valley is another attraction around Statue of Unity which is likely to keep the visitors glued. The valley was created to give a glimpse of the ecosphere of Narmada region. There are about hundreds of species of blooms and shrubs. Besides this you also get to view several varieties of bamboo and grasses in the Flower valley. The 17 km stretch of the flower garden is located on the bank of Narmada River and is 2.4 km away from the Statue of Unity. The valley also provides lots of options for trekkers in the upper reaches which is a good way to gain an insight into the topography of the valley. Best time to visit the flower valley is in the months of July, August and September as the flowers are in full bloom during this time.


If you’re yearning to watch the booming wildlife of Gujarat during your trip to the Statue of Unity then a day trip to Ratanmahal Sloth Bear Sanctuary would prove to be an ideal option. The sanctuary is mostly famous for the sloth bears, a rare species belonging to the Bear family. Besides this the sanctuary boasts of Leopards, Jackals, Hyenas, Cats, Antelopes, Reptiles and Turtles. There is an immense variety of shrubs and trees growing in the region including gooseberry, blackberry along with some wild herbs and grasses. Bird watching is another thing which would keep you busy during your visit to this wildlife sanctuary as it houses a great variety of birds like Crested Serpent Eagle, Alexandrine Parakeet, Tailor Bird, Green Pigeon and purple sunbird. The sanctuary is best enjoyed from October till February.


Another attraction you must take time to visit around the Statue of Unity is Panchmuli Lake located just 5.2 km away from Sardar Patel statue. The lake offers crystal clear views of Vindhyachal mountain range, Statue of Unity and Sardar Sarovar Dam. The place offers ecstatic views of the greenery surrounding the waterfalls which includes forests of Dediapada and Shoolpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary.
